This gallery incorporates themes of transformation and resilience which is the catalyst of TAH-mee’s storytelling and often emerge in our artwork, mirroring the resilience of relationships and the human spirit. Through layers of symbolism and metaphor, we invite viewers to contemplate the cyclical essence of life and the profound beauty that can be found in moments of growth and change. Ultimately, our intention as artists and storytellers is to foster a deeper connection between individuals and the world around them. By inviting our audience to pause, reflect, and engage with their own emotions and surroundings, THA-mee hope to spark conversations and inspire moments of introspection and empathy.
ETERNALLY ROOTED: Togetherness is one of the most profound emotions known to human beings. This is the bases of establishing a relationship with another person. Determining whether a connection reflects temporary infatuation or true love can sometimes be challenging. There are many phases of love, but many people seek its expression in a romantic relationship with a compatible partner. For many, the relationship comprises one of the most meaningful aspects of life, providing a source of deep fulfillment. The need for human connection appears to be innate—but the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned through trail and tribulations. Eternally Rooted the series is a visual representation symbolizing the many stages of a relationship. The birth and evolution of every relationship is based on several stages in which these stages represent the basic fabrics of life that will determine the success or failure of the relationship.
TRUST: To Trust, defined as to have confidence, faith or hope in someone or something and is demonstrated thru our actions. Some of us experience more loving actions throughout our life and may develop a strong sense and willingness and capability of “Trusting ". Those lacking that early induction of trust and act of love will inevitably have concerns and disillusion for the act of “Trusting“. Trust is an emotional and logical act. Emotionally, it is where you expose your vulnerabilities to others in believing they will not take advantage of your openness. As individuals, once we learn and harness the ability to trust ourselves unconditionally, then the wiliness of trusting another person fully released. Trust is important because it is the basis around which all human relationships revolve, listen to that little voice inside, it's speaking to you, and you can "TRUST" it.
